The term “be yourself” feels so natural and easy because there is no effort to be something other than who you are. No resistance to your essence, your truth, your unique way of being allows you to just simply be yourself.
So what makes it so tricky to do so?
There are so many pushes and pulls in life that tempts us to step out of the permission to just be who we truly are.
There is nothing to fear but fear itself.
Those days that you just don’t feel like yourself, instead of it defining you and being a problem, let it be a validation of how capable you are, the self-awareness you have, and your ability to let go of what is creating the fog and interfering with the connection to yourself.
Our ability to know what our intuition is, how it speaks to us, interpret the messages, and act on what we become aware of is the shift from living in fear and disconnect to love, certainty, and empowerment.
Transformation is not for the faint of heart. But I know there comes a point for everyone where you just can’t sit any longer. This is the time to let your soul lead the way.
Even simply sitting in a room full of women who have the same intention of healing and creating safe space is a profound energetic healing.
Emotions are energy. You have the ability to shift the energy and change what you are feeling. When you view emotions as an energy, distance is created and you are able to observe them vs swim in them. This perspective allows you to move gracefully through the emotion instead of becoming attached and stuck in the feeling.
Self love is knowing yourself and not judging what you see.
Being neutral and loving without getting hooked in by the messy, sticky parts.
It’s being able to see the imperfections, hear the unpopular thoughts, know the dreams and wishes you hold while giving yourself space to be exactly where you are.
We crave passion, aliveness, and answers to questions that we know hold the key to our wellbeing. We desire to take the next step but we are unclear as to what direction to go so we stay right where we are. Feet planted, motionless, feeling stuck.
There are a few patterns I see in this cycle.

I remember when I wanted to feel focused, fluid and joyful, connected, with a deep trust in myself - not scattered and rigid and barely holding on.
But, honestly, it was a frequent struggle until I finally learned how to energetically ground, how to see myself as spirit and know what energy - thoughts, emotions, visions, etc - are mine and what are other people's.
When we become more aware of self and our abilities (intuitive and energetic) and learn how to ground and meditate we disengage from all of the demands of life, and everything shifts.
Have you ever wanted to change something about yourself, a pattern or way of being in this world? Have you ever thought about the impact the way others see you, believe in you and hold space for you to create the change has on your sense of self and ability to succeed?
Have you ever found yourself feeling "off" from the energy of another person, place or experience? Or do you ever find yourself exhausted, drained for no good reason? Have you gone from feeling clear and certain in one moment to doubtful and foggy the next? Energy affects us all, whether we are aware of it or not. Becoming aware and just simply noticing is the first tool in cultivating energetic, intuitive capabilities.
